For everyone who's worrying, this is where God wants me to go. I've known that since February, just wasn't sure how it was going to work out, but everything comes together, just when it's supposed to. In his book God.com, James Langteaux talks about how sometimes God calls you to do things the seem crazy. He compares trusting God to jumping off a cliff, saying you just have to let yourself fall off the cliff trusting that he will catch you. This is me falling and trusting.

On December 15, 2007 I attended an amazing celebration of rebirth and renewal in Gulu, Uganda. It was the 2008 Miss Acholi Beauty Contest and Traditional Dance Competition. An Acholi friend of mine that lives in London organized the event that was an amazing success.
The 2008 Miss Acholi Beauty Contest and Traditional Dance Competition was a celebration of life and culture. I was privileged to be invited to this special event and experience the pride and joy of the Acholi people. It was an incredible party that started at 5:00pm and ended at 7:00am the following morning!
I have created a short video to summarize 14 hours of fun into 10 minutes.
